ACT, One-On-One Tutoring - We Can Help \iith Anything!
Why Choose Focus on Learning?
Focus On Learning teachers are dedicated to helping students become more confident and skilled learners. They work with students in private sessions to improve skills in reading, mathematics, and writing. Our teachers' goal is to help each student reach his or her potential.
In traditional classrooms, time and budgetary constraints can limit a teacher's ability to work with students as individuals, and students' strengths may thus be overlooked. Our one-on-one intervention allows students to recognize their talents and abilities and thus regain their confidence in their ability to succeed in school.
Focus teachers embrace each student as an individual, and we tailor instruction to each learner. We don't expect students to conform to a standardized model, but we show them how to succeed in a curriculum that requires them to test well. At the same time, we help students understand why they are not defined by their test scores.
Private one-on-one sessions and specialized courses at Focus on Learning Center offer much more than instruction in the basics of reading, writing, and mathematics. They allow students to grow as learners and human beings. Focus on Learning Center teachers work with students to: ?Awaken their curiosity
?Discover inherent learning strengths
?Master critical 21st Century academic and reasoning skills
?Take on new challenges
?Feel pride in effort and persistence
?Exceed their expectations
